Hello, I’m Aaron Backlund, a passionate MNSU student committed to harnessing the power of technology to drive positive change in our communities. With a track record of volunteer work, academic achievements, and practical experience, I bring a unique blend of skills to the world of Information Technology.

🤝 Community Engagement: I’ve been an active volunteer, contributing to events like the White Dove Foundations Caregivers Strong and serving on the Scott County local library’s Teen Advisory Board. Additionally, my media work with Jordan Middle School reflects my dedication to community growth.

🏆 Recognized Achievements: I’ve had the honor of receiving the Outstanding Youth Awards in 2015 and 2017, along with two Student of the Month awards during my academic journey. These accolades signify my commitment to excellence.

💻 Technical Proficiency: With an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Computer Technology from Normandale Community College, I’ve honed my technical skills. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology at Minnesota State University — Mankato, I’m continuously expanding my knowledge and expertise.

🔧 Hands-On Experience: As an ITS ResTech Student Worker at Minnesota State University, Mankato, I’ve been at the forefront of supporting students and staff in optimizing their technology experience. I take pride in troubleshooting and finding innovative solutions to enhance technology functionality.

🌟 Passion for Innovation: My most recent volunteer work involved website design for Team T.O.’s LLS campaign in 2021. This experience highlights my ability to work and collaborate on a large team and help to use technology to drive positive change that can impact the world.
